Description
PLEASE ONLY BUY IF:
- You have a valid EC (Code 140 license) or leaners
- This course is not to learn how to drive a truck.
What to expect:
- You will learn how to learn to park a truck and trailer as preparation for the CDL license in the USA
- You learn how to drive Left Hand Truck (Peterbilt)
- You will learn to upshift/downshift on a manual gearbox, since USA trucks are manual, not automatic as in South Africa
- Get a report that will be provided to your agent and made available to the USA Farmer
- This should make you more desirable for the USA farmer. Certain USA farmer only want people that went through this training.
- A theoretical course will be made available to you on this platform in preparation to the practical training.
Please note the following: Before you can attend a practical session:
The fundamental theory courses available on our website is for us a necessary first step as it ensure all the participants on the program have the same basic knowledge – to maximise the time you have to learn to operate the vehicle. It would not be fair to you attending a practical training session if the trainer have to spend time educating other people in the session the fundamental basics. The intention of the sessions is to put the theory into practice.
Arrival: 07:30 on the first day
Practical Arrangements:
1) Accommodation is your responsibility and NOT INCLUDED. Currently there aren’t any accommodation t the training venue in Marble Hall.
1) We will create a WhatsApp group with registered candidates, to allow you to make personal travelling arrangements. This will help reduce costs if you travel together where possible.
3) Meals are NOT included. Please bring your own lunch.
4) Bring a water bottle for the practical training, it gets hot and the cold water makes it more bearable.
7) You can bring note pad and pen for the learning sessions to take notes.
